Dandenong Park Regional Playground

The design for this new regional playground forms part of a revitalisation strategy for Dandenong Park. Visible from Princes Highway, this iconic playground responds to its location and site history.

The playground provides nature and interpretive play for all age groups and an accessible play space for all abilities.

Elements include sculptural play items, an elevated play structure and viewing deck, sand play and ephemeral water play, along with a range of play equipment.

Future stages include a picnic and BBQ area, memorial avenue, car park, entry plaza with amenities and a further playground stage catering for older children.
