New Studio Director in Melbourne

ASPECT Studios is delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Mackay as Studio Director in our Melbourne Studio. Having joined ASPECT in 2016 with two decades of place making experience in key public domain projects, including the Glebe Foreshore Walk and Paddington Reservoir (with JMD), to the Darling Harbour / ICC Sydney precinct, Burnley Living Roofs, Medibank Place, Rosebud Foreshore playspace, and one of the country’s largest private, modern art collections, the Pt Leo sculpture park – all during his decade with HASSELL.

 

“Having long admired the evolution of ASPECT Studios from humble beginnings to one of the great contemporary studios for landscape architecture, I’m excited about the future here, and the chance to to be part of delivering the next generation of legacy projects. As Melbourne Studio Director, my goals will be to help hone our processes in support of even better design outcomes, ensuring we grow as professionals and encouraging successful inter-studio links, harnessing our incredible diversity, depth of skills and knowledge. And of course, to continue winning the best projects and work with fantastic collaborators.”
